Today we went and met with the doctor and she did an ultrasound (where we were hoping to hear a heartbeat). Instead of hearing a heartbeat and seeing a little alien baby, she found a yolk sac, as she called it, and said that our due date was most likely calculated incorrectly and that I am only about 5 weeks along. She is going to call me tomorrow to confirm. We did get a picture of our little yolk sac and we made an appointment to try again in 4 weeks.
