West Coast Vacation Part #2

We arrived around 9 p.m. in Auburn to visit Uncle Rob, Aunt Lori, Nathan, Natalie, and Nicholas. They made us a big sign for us to drive through as we pulled in their driveway. The next morning we made muffins together and then headed to a park to do some hiking by the Yuba River. They had the longest covered bridge and we got to walk over it as we started our hike. We had a lot of fun walking on the rocks and the kids loved putting their feet in the water.

The next day was rainy and a little chilly so we headed to Rosemont to do some shopping. We helped the kids pick out their Halloween costumes. Nicholas is going to be Megatron and Natalie is going to be Alex from Wizards of Waverly Place. Their costumes are super cute. Nathan is still deciding and we will look forward to seeing what costume he picks out!

On Tuesday we went to Apple Hill which is an area that had a bunch of orchards. We ate delicious candy apples and had a nice picnic at one of the orchards.

This morning, we hung out at the playground by the lake where the family lives.

We had a lot of fun hanging out with them!!!!!!!

We are now sitting at the airport waiting for Part #3 of the trip to begin. At 4:05 p.m. (7:05 Cincinnati time), we will be flying to San Diego to visit with Aimee, Craig, and Jillian.
