We went to the doctor yesterday. Liam weighs 13 pounds and 8 ounces (down from 95%-25%). He is 25 1/4 inches long (still 90%). His head continues to be in the 75% although they didn't tell me how big it actually is.
Overall, the doctor said he is looking really good and developing as he should. Liam hasn't gained any weight in the last month so the doctor recommended adding another feeding in during the day. He said that he wasn't too concerned because Liam is doing so well otherwise and is a very happy baby. Just to be sure, he goes in for a weight check in a month and then, if he still isn't gaining, we will talk about other options.
The doctor said we are free to start him on cereal and then foods anytime in the next two months. Sean and I haven't really talked about it just yet so I am not for sure when we will be starting him on foods. The doctor said that early on the foods are really just to get Liam used to textures while the nursing will still be his main source of calories.
