Happy 2nd Birthday!

In the tradition of using the blocks, here's Liam at 2!

We spent the morning opening a few gifts and then playing with his new stuff!  He got building blocks, a few books, a puzzle, and some instruments.

 After that we headed to the doctor for his 2 year well check.  He did great!  He sat there and just let the doctor do everything she needed to do.  He only cried for a minute when getting his shot and wasn't sure about the blood test but thought it was cool that he got a band-aid on his finger. 

Here's how he is measuring...

Height (they did standing this time)- 34.5 which is the 55th percentile
Weight- 34 pounds which is 97th percentile
Head circumference- 19 5/8 which is 90th percentile

He's right where he needs to be developmentally and she told us we are doing a great job with him! 

After the doctor, we headed to toys r us to get a balloon and crown.  Sadly, they didn't have any helium so the balloon is not blown up.  I'm glad I had gotten him one yesterday and we have some for his party Saturday as well.  We got him a book and then went to chick-fil-a for lunch and to play!
