Firsts

Ainsley had lots of firsts today...

She rode on the Ferry for the first time...

Liam helped pull our suitcase through the airport...

Ainsley rode on her first airplane...it was Liam's second trip

Ainsley rode on her second plane too!

Liam liked watching his very own in flight movie (Toy Story 3) until he remembered he could play games and then he kept switching what he was playing every three seconds!

Today was our first day of vacation!  We picked up Sean's dad and drove to the Anderson Ferry.  We rode across the ferry but we didn't get out this time because it was chilly and foggy.  We arrived at the airport and Sean's dad drove our van home. 

We checked in and walked to our gate and then we had some chick-fil-a.  We walked back to our gate and waited to board and while we were waiting, we were able to get our seats moved so we could all sit together!  We boarded our first plane to Atlanta.  Liam and Ainsley both did really well on this flight.  It was only about an hour and a half.  We got off the plane and had time to walk to our next gate and then boarding for that started about 10 minutes later.

We got on at the beginning this time (which was much easier) and then we flew to San Diego.  Ainsley napped a bit and Liam watched some shows and read books.  He like looking out the window and seeing that we were flying over the clouds.  Ainsley waved for the first time at the lady across the aisle.  We landed in San Diego about 10 minutes early.  We headed to baggage claim and Aimee and Jillian were waiting for us when we came down the elevator.  Liam and Jillian were so excited to see each other!!!!

After picking up our luggage and then a van, we headed for Jillian's house.  We picked up dinner and got settled in.  Liam and Jillian played and played and played.  We were exhausted from a long day of traveling but are excited for the start of our vacation!
