On Saturday, we met Billy, Kelly, and Liz at the City Flea. We got some granola, shirts for Liam, and a gift for someone.
After that we headed to Books on the Banks. It's an event hosted by the library and they have all sorts of author presentations. Here is Tad Hills, the author of the Duck and Goose books (and others). He is drawing duck.
Liam had gotten Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin at the library before and he loved it.
Here he is watching Tad draw duck.
Thing 1
The Lorax
He made his very own Cat in the Hat hat...
He also made a book. He loved using the stamps!
We ended up getting Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin (signed by Tad Hills), Little Quacks A to Z (signed by the illustrator), and another surprise book for Christmas.
Saturday evening, we stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's house to show off the kids Halloween costumes to Aunt Kelly. She will be in San Diego for Halloween. We took pictures but I am going to wait until closer to Halloween to share them. I still need to finish my costume and Sean's costume.
