We stayed in Indy for a few days after Christmas. On Monday, we went over to Sarah's house to see some friends from grade school. Liam enjoyed playing with Joey (who turned one in November) and Emma (who turned 2 in November).
After that we picked up my mom and dad and met Amy, Haley, and Josh at the Indiana State Museum. The kids rode the train over and over and over (I think about 8 times). Amy and Sean rode along a few times. The kids also colored pictures and snowflakes.
After the museum, Liam took a short nap before we went out to dinner. Courtney and Brian came over before dinner and they shared that they were engaged!!!!! We all went to the Olive Garden and asked Courtney way too many questions! They are hoping to get married in June. For Christmas, my mom arranged for my aunt, uncle, and cousins in California to come visit in late June/early July. We are hoping to change their flight to a weekend before so they can come to the wedding.
On Tuesday, it was snowing! We walked to Jockomo's and Liam loved walking in the snow!
On Tuesday afternoon, we went wedding dress shopping. Courtney got a few ideas of what she likes but hasn't decided for sure yet. In the evening, we had a game night. It was fun teaching Haley and Josh to play a few games we used to play together when we were kids. On Wednesday, we just played at my mom and dad's house and then headed home in the afternoon.
On Thursday, I had to work. Sean decided he was going to open up the wall in Liam's room (like he did in the playroom) so we would have even more storage space. He was able to put down the floor and clean it all out before we got home. We took a trip to Home Depot (Sean's 4th or 5th that day) and got the other items he needed. He got the doors on and latches installed. Now we just need to paint the doors but thought that would be a better project for the spring.
